Dr.Sahad graduated from University of Calicut (MBBS) and then completed his specialist training in General Medicine (MD) in 2004 from Dr MGR Medical University,Chennai to qualify as Specialist Physician. He has also completed a post graduate diploma in Diabetology from Annamalai University,Tamilnadu and was working as a Physician and diabetologist before moving to Australia in 2009.He was qualified to receive MRCP(Membership of the Royal College of Physicians of UK) in 2012 and became a member of Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.He completed his specialist training in Medical Oncology from Canberra hospital (ACT Health) and GV health (Victoria) to receive his fellowship (FRACP) from Royal Australian College of Physicians

Dr.Sahad is a Medical Oncologist and a Physician and his special interest in the field of Oncology includes Prostate cancer,Kidney and bladder cancers,Neuroendocrine tumours,lower GI and pancreatic cancers.He has also got immense experience in dealing with a wide range of acute and chronic general medical conditions.His special interest in General Medicine includes diabetes and related complications.

He is an active member of many professional organisations including Medical Oncology Group of Australia(MOGA), American Society of Oncology(ASCO) ,European society of Medical Oncology(ESMO),IMSANZ(Internal medicine society of Australia),ESA(Endocrine Society of Australia),Australian Diabetes Society (ADS) and PCPA(Private Cancer Physicians of Australia)

He is also very much interested and involved in academic teaching and research activities and has published articles in national and international journals.

He is a Senior Lecturer in the College of Medicine and Dentistry at James Cook University, QLD, Australia.

Dr Sahad constantly endeavours to provide timely and affordable specialist care of the highest standard with a strong patient-centric ethos and he is very well known for his patient education skills.
